Periodically, the City of Live Oak and the Sutter County Sheriff's Office will conduct citizen surveys to determine concerns and complaints by Live Oak citizens. One of the more frequent complaints noted was speeding vehicles. In an attempt to address this concern, the Live Oak Substation has taken steps to conduct more frequent traffic enforcement in and around the City of Live Oak.  In the future, we will share some exciting news to help further remedy these issues.

In addition, the City of Live Oak has a portable radar trailer available that has a lighted message board. The board has the capabilities of not only warning the drivers of their vehicle speed, but can also warn them to reduce the speed of their vehicle.
