The Sutter Deputy Sheriff's Association in conjunction with the Sutter County Sheriff's Office are proud host our favorite event of the year, Shop with a Cop. Shop with a Cop is an annual event dedicated to assist children and families in need during the holiday season. The children selected are based on needs including, family situations, unemployment, not having the fiscal means to provide gifts during the holidays, or other family hardships. Some children may have had a negative experience with law enforcement and participating in this program may foster a new beginning for the children and allow them, and their parents/guardians, to have a positive interaction with law enforcement.

Shop with a Cop is always open for contributions and we work year around in receiving funding for the annual program. If you or know someone who is able to assist the children of our community, please contact Daisy Aguilar, (530) 822-7307, email: daguilar@co.sutter.ca.us.

The Shop with a Cop program is a charitable non-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
