Previously, Sutter County Sheriff's Office received a grant from the California State Sheriff's Association to educate the public and enforce car seat law during the week of November 22-28th, 1999. Since the expiration of the grant, the Sheriff's Office has continued to be active in car seat buckle up check points and in sponsoring bicycle rodeo programs. 

In addition, the Sheriff's Office continues to be active with bi-annual Operation Mobilization week.
