The City of Live Oak contracts with Sutter County to provide law enforcement services to approximately 9,106 citizens in Live Oak. Sheriff’s Deputies operate out of a substation located at 2755 Fir St., at the corner of Fir and O Streets. The substation is staffed by six patrol deputies, one detective, one sergeant, and one lieutenant.

Lieutenant Rajinder Gill is assigned to oversee the law enforcement operations for the City of Live Oak and also acts as the conduit between the Sheriff’s Office and the Live Oak City Council and City Officials.
