Lieutenant Bryan Read-Khan is a lifelong resident of the Yuba-Sutter area.  After graduating high school in 2006, he attended Yuba Community College studying Criminal Justice, before moving to Texas in 2007 to further his studies in Sociology at the College of the Mainland.  Bryan resided in Texas for two years before returning to the Yuba-Sutter area in 2009. 

Bryan worked in loss prevention before joining the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office in 2014 as a Reserve Correctional Officer.  In 2015, he was hired as a full time Correctional Officer and in 2019 promoted to the rank of Correctional Sergeant and in 2022 became the first Administrative Seargent in the Jail Division. 

Bryan resides in Gridley with his wife, Haley, together they share 3 sons and 1 daughter.  In his spare time Bryan enjoys spending time with his family and playing music.
